Decently priced and value in an overpiced city

The hotel is located outside of the city centre about 25 minutes by metro or train but you get plenty of value for money. Amsterdam hotels of a similar or lower category in the city centre are at least 50% more expensive than the Hampton. So, for me, it is well worth the metro ride. The hotel has a very bright and spacious lobby. The staff was very nice and helpful. The rooms are a little bit small but very clean and modern. The bed is comfortable, and the shower/toilet is large. Also, they have a gym and the breakfast has plenty of options and is quite good. Just, the juices are not natural. Overall, this hotel punches above its 3 star category and it is normally my go-to hotel when in Amsterdam for business. Excellent value for money.

I have stayed at this hotel many times over the years. The staff were friendly and welcoming. Rooms are lovely and a great breakfast. It was busy with folks attending Eurovision in Concert. Many thanks to Luigi, Selina and Eva as well as the whole team for a lovely stay. Best. Kevin

This hotel is in a great location, it has lovely spacious rooms. 5 minutes walk to the football stadium, shops, restaurants and the train station is on your doorstep. The rooms are very clean and spacious. Helpful staff and lovely breakfast.

The staff were very welcoming and friendly. The room itself was spacious, the chair and the bed were both very comfortable. The shower and bathroom in general were brilliant. Its so handy being only a few steps from the train station which is a quick 10 minute ride to the city centre however there are so many restaurants and shops near by that you could spend all your time here. You are a 3 minute walk from the Football stadium and the cinema is very close by. This was a brilliant stay.

We were here for an event at the Ziggo dome. I loved the delicious complimentary breakfast and the service. For us, the location was excellent, but even if you’re here to visit without an event, it is still a fantastic location. The station is right outside the hotel, and you have access to both the metro within the city and the NS trains to go outside the city (which I highly recommend doing since it’s so fast, easy, and affordable to take the train for a day trip elsewhere). The people working there were super lovely and I have zero complaints about service. The room was a good size with good quality bathroom toiletries. I would have loved a fridge, but that’s not a dealbreaker. Fantastic place to stay!
